We had a wonderful Christmas!
Family over for both Christmas Eve and Day.
Laughed lots, ate too much, made a mess opening gifts, played games and visited until my throat was scratchy.
I had to show you one of the centerpieces from our table. I saw this on Pinterest and loved it. So bright and early Christmas morning I stepped outside to trim some greens from the bushes. I'm sure any neighbors that spotted me though I was nuts. It was 0°F at the time.
Greens in a mason jar...add water and fresh cranberries which are ever so kind to float.
Drop in a floating candle. Ta-da...
Simple and festive.
This looks really very beautiful - and I must remember it.
ReplyDeletegosh I missed quite a lot ... this is so beautiful

I bet you thought I turned into a pumpkin or something, since it's been so long since I visited. To say I'm having a problem with blogger is an understatement. Good thing I had a few things already prepared.
ReplyDeleteI did something similar once, only far less economical now that fresh cranberries cost an arm and a leg. I placed them in a jar I filled 3/4 of the way, then added a long taper candle in each jar. I think I had five on my table that year and used at least four packages of cranberries. I like your idea better.
