Anniversary Circle book complete
Quite a while back I showed my circle for the anniversary swap on ABC.
Here's my completed book.
I used CD's that had been sitting in my UFO (unfinished object) bin forever.
They were colored on both side by pouring blue and green metallic inks on then swirling a bit.
The black swirls are two different rubber stamps and plain old dye-based ink.

Illustration Friday: Horizon

When I saw the Illustration Friday theme: Horizon, I immediately thought of this altered CD that is part of my perpetual calendar. It was painted with a children's watercolor set on standard card stock.

More ornaments

I was a busy bee this morning and got 4 more ornaments put together. Amazing what you can get done without the kids around.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Christmas Ornaments
It's been a while since I've posted anything here. I actually have been creating but mostly personal stuff.
These are a couple of ornaments that I finished today.
I think I have half a dozen more to go.
Can you tell what they are made from? Check out the post labels for the answer.

Friendship CD

Just finished a CD...altered, of course. I'm proud to say that the beautiful fairy is actually my paternal grandmother. I never had the chance to meet her but have been told I take after her. I'll accept that as a wonderful complement.

Illustration Friday: Your Paradise

This is my first post for Illustration Friday. Being near the mountains makes me so happy...can't wait for my next visit. Medium is watercolor painting on cardstock adhered to a CD.
I've always admired Marci Senders ability to come up with an image for the theme each week finally decided to give it a shot myself.
Second thought on my paradise.
