Anniversary Circle book complete

Quite a while back I showed my circle for the anniversary swap on ABC.


Here's my completed book.


I used CD's that had been sitting in my UFO (unfinished object) bin forever.
They were colored on both side by pouring blue and green metallic inks on then swirling a bit.
The black swirls are two different rubber stamps and plain old dye-based ink.

Coffee pages

I decided to drag out my coffee themed altered book over the weekend to try and get a few more pages done.

Here's what I came up with...

When I decided to do this book I thought it would be a breeze.

I LOVE COFFEE. How hard could it be, right?!?

Apparently I like drinking my coffee, not creating art about it.

Swap 4x4's and a sneak peek

Altered pages..just for fun

I was having art withdrawals so I whipped up these couple pages in my "just for fun" no theme alteredbook.

Everything on these pages is from my scrap heap. I keep trying to whittle it down some but somehow it multiplies when I turn out the lights.

Book of Letters

These are the pages for the most recent book I received in a RR.

I'm really happy with the way the beading on the edge turned out. Hopefully the owner will like it as much as I do.

New postage people

These are for a friend to help fill in a postage theme mini book.

Huge tomato plants!

Can you believe the size of these tomato plants?!?!

Actually, there are 2 plants in each pot. I did that because I wasn't sure they'd even make it.

My hubby bought this organic garden soil. After potting up the tomatoes and a bunch of herbs I discovered that it said on the back of the bag "NOT FOR USE IN CONTAINERS". I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It certainly worked well!

The white pot has regular tomatoes, I believe Celebration was the name. The other is the little yellow pear shaped tomatoes. A childhood favorite of mine. :)

To give you a little perspective, the deck railing it about 5 feet off the ground. The plants are at least 3.5 feet by themselves and the stems are at least 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
