a laser cut stavkirke. I visited a stavkirke in Rapid City, SD several times. It was stunningly beautiful. Of course I may be a bit biased since I'm 100% Norwegian and my dad was a woodworker.

Of course you had me following your link to learn a new word today. Thanks so much for teaching me something new. Love this ornament, possibly the best of all so far. It is wonderful. So glad you shared the connection (which of course I knew, but didn't put it together).
You asked on my blog about the sandwich. It's made of ceramic coasters that keep water marks off my oak furniture. Not sure there is any significance, just thought it would be fun for Santa to receive a sandwich with a cup of hot cocoa instead of milk and cookies. And this is about 1/4 of my trees. Either the photos didn't turn out, or I didn't put them out this year. It's all about simplicity in 2009!!
