Iced Tea Tuesday

It's quite humid today and while the sun was out I'd even say it was hot. Now keep in mind that just 9 days ago it snowed a little. Not snow that stuck but snow none the less.  Gotta love Minnesota.

So today I'm doing a bit of planting today...

Just 2 hanging baskets and a small pot of flowers so far. All from seeds I saved and started in the house.

I'll be buying some plants but still have a few things in the house in need of planting.

Stop by Kimmies for the links to the other Tea Tuesday bloggers

On a side note to those participating in the Tea Cup round robin. I got my package on Friday but hadn't had a chance to do more than take a tiny peek inside until this morning.

"Houston we have a problem...." Apparently, the  package wasn't handled very carefully in transit.

I have emailed Judy privately to ask how we should proceed and am awaiting a reply but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Happy (belated) birthday to you! Our days are hot, hot, hot! But I walked with hubby tonite and it wasn't so bad. My kids love iced tea but I never make it. My mom always made fresh ice tea for us all the time. Happy planting! Best wishes, Tammy

I remember the weather in Minn well - my parents lived in Buffalo for a number of years...........

Houston we have a problem always makes me giggle...sorry!

Mother Nature just does what she pleases! (post office too it seems)

It never ceases to amaze me how things can go from twiggy to lush lush green and blooming...we noticed a big change coming home from our trip...Happy T day

It's a sad day for the Tea Cup round robin players to read that the tea cup was chipped and cracked down the side before anyone ever had a chance to use it. But wow, your grass is gorgeous and green. Mine is still brown and in need of moisture and a good haircut, too.

Hi Halle, you are so clever to raise plants by seed. I definitely do not have the patience or Knowledge, I just go and buy seedlings and hope they grow for me. I'm sure your baskets and pots will look beautiful when your plants are in flower. Happy tuesday Tea to you.xx

Your hanging baskets will be so gorgeous! You can give us progress photos as they grow in .... I love those stakes that hold them up in the middle of the garden. We don't have much of a porch, so we have a couple of those.

It is a shame about the teacup .... I guess we should "drive defensively" assuming that every postal worker along the way is a manhandling teacup mangling fiend ;) .... Well you know what I mean :)

Happy Tuesday! Kimmie

Argh! And I thought I did a good job of packing it. ~ sniff, sniff ~ Did you get my email response? What did you decide?

Love your watering can...

I'm glad spring is finally making its way to your neck of the woods.
